Did any one see the moon on Saturday night?  It was full, larger than it’s been in 11 years, and orange when it first came up.  Unfortunately I was riding in a car on my way home from a lovely dinner out and by the time I got my camera and tripod and ran down to the beach, the color was gone. But it was beautiful nonetheless.

One advantage to changing the clocks, I got to see an awesome sunrise this morning.

I’ve been working on a series of bridge shots for my iconic New York series.  Took this one while driving (well actually while passengering) across the Verrazano.

Blue skies, no snow in sight, and a taste of spring at the shore.  Happy March!

On my way to a George Washington Bridge shoot, crossing it as the sky was just starting to turn towards sunset over the city in the distance.

Still snow and ice bound at Sandy Hook, but these two don’t seem to mind!

Even in this endless winter, there is beauty to be found everywhere.

Nineteen more inches of snow.  Enough already!  But a beautiful sunrise over the snowbound city.
