What a great action shot! 2 parallel curves and one sensational jump dunk!
What an action shot! BBall players like to get their feet off the ground when they shoot! And photographers like to catch that mid-air ascent!
WOW!! This is awesome. I knew you were talented, but I guess I’ve never seen you capture action quite like this before. They’re dancing!
Wow – you caught the ballet of basketball! Great action shot.
I love this one, especially the suspension of the player on the left. Not only does it look like dancing, but it creates an almost impossible composition where the man is perfectly balanced between jumping and falling. It almost looks like he’s frozen in mid air or held up by an invisible string. I think the tension created by what is possible in reality and what is possible in a photograph is what’s really magical about this shot.
I never realized before how much this sport is like dancing – until I looked at my photos and saw the graceful movements. I’ve got many more great shots from this shoot. Let me know if you want to see them.
