The sun was starting to set, spreading a pink glow on the horizon. The beach was quiet and empty after a busy almost summer day. It was me, my camera, and this catamaran, parked up by the dunes.
I did a shoot last evening at Gramercy Park. It was just before dusk and the park was empty. You could feel the history that surrounded you. Lonely, lush, and quiet – a hidden place right in the middle of the city.
We had a tornado alert in New York City on Sunday, which is most unusual. Never got really dangerous, but we did get high winds and some awesome clouds. Take a look at this cloud near the Empire State Building. The color is true and there was no post production work done on this photo.
Happy June! If you’re in New York, try to get to the Met Museum for the Doug and Mike Starn exhibit on the roof. It’s really unusual and affords you a view of the city that is quite unexpected.
