I was at the World Financial Center for an evening concert and stepped outside just as the rain stopped. Glad I had my camera with me, as always!

You really captured the “mood”” after the rain” on a summer evening. Beautiful colors in that sky.
I love the juxtaposition of person, boat, and skyline. As always, very well done.
Love the moody, delicate lighting of the sky, with the smokey grey turning to a” rosy fingered” yellow.
This is a wonderful photograph, Ellen. The railings and lamp posts feel like Paris along the Seine at dusk. The silhouetted figure at the left could be a Parisien gazing out on the river. Then we look up at the huge building and realize that we’re in a major metropolitan area. Old meets new in a subtle, delicate image.
I love the light and the composition. The woman on the far left in the sunhat, the masts of the boat, and the building on the back right form a triangle that pulls your eye through the photograph.
