Dusk over Manhattan. All appears so quiet…

Thanks to my shooting buddy for driving me out to Brooklyn to get this shot.

Five months after Sandy, and so many northern NJ beaches are still unaccessible.  At least we can get to the beach at Ocean Grove and walk on it.  Grateful for small favors.

One of my first teachers taught that when you think you’ve got your shot, turn around!  Good advice.  This is what was behind me.

“Right smack dab in the middle of town
I’ve found a paradise that’s trouble proof (up on the roof)”…
