I like it, Ellen! The soft, blurred colors in the foreground, reflections on the car roof, lights in the bridge, on the building to the left, in the distant street, and even way out to the Empire State Building in the distance, add tremendous dimension to this photograph. Well done!
Thanks all! What I love about this shot is the geometric lines – the arches of the bridge echoed by the circle of barbed wire on the left, the verticals of the columns on the roadway and those of the lightpost, the building, and the reflected lights. And way in the background, the shapes of Manhattan.
I really like the mood of this shot.
What an interesting photo! I love these summer evening shots.

I love LOVE this shot. The lights and blur are in such contrast to the gritty street that the scene becomes magical. It’s an urban lullaby. Well done!
Beautiful effects! – the streaked vertical lights form another NYC skyline!
I’m not a lover of blurry lights, but this one made me think I was in Venice!
Interesting shot with lots of details and not the “usual” GWB.

What a cinematic shot. Seems like a still from a 70’s Italian film. One of my favorites.
