Wanted to share this image of a peaceful autumn evening at the shore.

Ahhh, New York.  You’re supposed to read all of this while you’re driving.  But the reward is, you get to call the Chrysler Building your own.

How unexpected to find a field and bales of hay in the middle of New Jersey! And how happy was I to be back up and running with my new camera.  All’s well that end’s well.

So you may already know that I did a self-portrait shoot by the ocean, the place that I find the most tranquil and peaceful on earth.  And that the waves came in and swept up my tripod and camera causing me to have to repair the lens and buy a new camera.  Not so tranquil, not so peaceful after all!  Lesson learned.  Herewith the last photo taken on my now old camera.  Onward and upward!

Those of you who follow my work know that I am interested in shadows, sparkles, and reflections.   Saw the crane and buildings reflected in the glass of a building on 57th Street and had to shoot it.

Not easy taking photos on a moving boat at night.  Impossible to keep the camera from moving, with tripod or without.  But I did get this great shot of the Pepsi Sign amid the darkness, with the red reflecting off the river.  And thanks again to my lovely host for dinner and a cruise 🙂

Who knew we had gargoyles as close as Columbus Circle! Right on the column. In plain sight.  Pretty freaky.  Even the pigeons seemed surprised.
