A new iconic addition to the Boston skyline.

Still working my way through the photos from Boston and Newport.  This was taken during a sunset shoot from Piers Park in East Boston.

Just came back from a five day shoot of Boston MA and Newport RI.  Over 2000 photos to go through!  I will be opening a new page on the website for each location.  In the meantime, here’s a taste:

I was there for a Butterfly Release, but got caught up in the peoplescape.  Reminded me of a famous painting…

Spent a lovely afternoon in DUMBO, just amazed at all the new parks and verandas that have popped up in the last couple of years.  But nothing surpassed this classic view:

I had the most interesting experience last night.  I heard about the Diner En Blanc – Dinner in White – (http://newyork.dinerenblanc.info/) from a friend – everyone has to be dressed in white, bring tables, chairs, food.  This started in Paris and is the second year that it took place in New York.  What a fascinating shoot it made for.  I’ve got many more great shots, but this was my favorite.

This was taken on Dag Hammarskjold Plaza.  I was there to see the outdoor exhibit, but I loved the light on the man in the corner.

Took this in the back garden; and then saw a similar photo in today’s Times, http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/13/nyregion/in-alley-pond-park-in-queens-the-lure-of-nocturnal-creatures.html?_r=1  If I had only sent it into the paper, I’d be famous this morning, shucks!  Well at least now I know what kind of spider it is.
