A still life! Classic composition with modern day matter. Very cool
I see a lovely still life:
Encapsulated lives thriving in different environments side by side.
Looking glass for questions, and tossed pearls carefree as to the answers.
Wow! This is unique in your oeuvre, isn’t it? What an artful composition of transparencies, reflections, textures and colors. It’s truly beautiful and original.
Yes, I was inspired by another photographer’s work and thought I would try my hand at still-lifes. Not as easy as it many look. Putting together the composition, getting the lighting right, using the right lens, and finally finding the focus was quite the task. So glad you like the results.
Whoa, Ellen, so different for you! Beautiful though. I love how versatile you are 🙂
beautiful!….looks like a painting
An excellent composition and the items in the still-life are refreshingly chosen and combined. I love that you have fur in the background, I’ve never seen that done before. I hope you will be trying your hand at more still-lifes.
This is wonderful and, I would imagine, very difficult! I love it.
Agree with the comments above about the composition, contemorary and timeless qualities. What I love is that little city scape in the snowglobe.
Beautiful! This looks like a Vermeer painting.
Did anybody get the pun in the title – Snow Day Still Life? Truth is, it was snowing outside, but the only snow in the photograph was in the snow globe!
