In memory of all the men and women who lost their lives in service to our country and in honor of all the men, women, and children who have died just trying to live their lives in this country.

After a foggy, rainy, dreary couple of days, I ran out early in the morning to see how my irises were doing. The day before they were still buds and then, like magic, one had bloomed in the rain. Made me so happy!

I finally figured out how to reach the Pergola on the Henry Hudson Parkway. Not easy, but worth it!
