What a great shot, Ellen! Love the depth of field and the perfect title to this subject. Well done!

The different layers and lighting are just great. And to capture a schooner, as well!

Beautiful photo! Feels like a window back in time. The light is gorgeous and I like the way the ship’s shape almost mimics the shape of the bridge. Well done!

Love your work with light in this image

What a wonderful mix of nature and man-made (people-made?) structures! On a clear day you can see forever–

    This grand sailing vessel
With its wind and sails agility
    Returning home
    In a sea of tranquility……

Thanks Karen. Lighting was very tricky with this shot. An hour before sunset, the sky was just getting pink, plus lots of shadows from the buildings, and many layers in the distance, each with it’s own level of light.
