You’ve captured what looks like a vast frozen lake with strange primitive shadow markings. Very surreal, with the ring of buildings and the intense blue sky. Silence seems to reign.

I love the tangled shadows and curves on the ice in contrast to the stark line of buildings. What a fabulous winter shot of NYC!
Crop circles in the water? (there must be winter gnomes)! That’s enough to keep a city “edgy”! Very interesting and lovely photo!
I like the cold, crisp fields of color – white, beige/brown, and that amazingly blue sky!
This is beautiful, expansive and “cold.” I love it.
From this perspective, there’s an amazing expanse of open space in the city. Lovely and different view.
