Good shot! Office workers, photographer all in one translucent world. Your hands in the center could be construed as the subject of the painting with the rectangular office as the background and frame. Very interesting!

It looks like a double exposure, but I know how you love reflections. The disembodied hands holding a camera, seemingly inside a building with tiny drones inhabiting tiny cells says a lot about our corporate culture. And of course, the geometric grid and multiple points of light add to the controlled chaos.

Voyeur…so many stories in the naked city. Great shot, Ellen!

  4. Karen says:

Love the size contrast between the photographer’s hands and the little tiny people in the little tiny offices.

  5. Jacqueline says:

Very surreal! Perhaps we are all vulnerable to being observed and exposed. A wonderful shot!

  6. Anne says:

Very interesting. It leaves the viewer to create the narrative in this photo. I really like it!

There’s something ghostly about this photograph, Ellen. Your hands and camera appear as an apparition, floating in mid air. What is even more interesting is that, in the image, the camera is pointed at us!

Also, I’m not sure if anyone noticed that it was snowing. If you look carefully you can see white streaks going diagonally from the top right of the photo.

Love it, feels like a game of Where’s Ellen 🙂 I like the size of the camera reflection (large) against the windows (small). Very interesting and creative!
