I love the angularity of this! Would be a great image to inspire an abstract painting.
Love the lines and shapes the shadows cast here – such an interesting, abstract photo!
Interesting! This museum is a composite of many picture frames: squares, rectangles, ovals – each with its own picture inside depending on how you’re looking through it. For instance, if you stood on the other side, you would see all the same frames, but a whole set of different pictures.
I love the abstraction in this shot. The color and line make it really pop and seems very different than your usual images, Ellen. It’s an interesting glimpse into your artistic eye when we see these geometric images that show how your work varies, yet still retains that Ellen Goodman character.
This beautiful shot could almost be a Mondrian. The pictorial structure achieved by the architecture and the shadows frames the blue sky and landscape beyond, and leads you out into the fresh air.
I have to agree with Bernice. I definitely see a hint of Mondrian here, as well as a large shadow that appears to be an extension of the tree we see through the window. So much to see! Great photo, Ellen!
What a study in color blocks and angles–reads quite flat and abstract. Great work. Agree with the Mondrian comments.
