WOW, Ellen! This photo actually made me say “whoa” out loud when I opened it. This is awesome. I’m not entirely sure what I’m looking at, but that’s what makes this photo so great. I adore the textures on the wall and the shadows of the people in motion. It does look like they’re moving towards something we have yet to understand. Truly gorgeous.
P.S. Great shots of Albany, I adored “Soaring Columns” – sometimes we forget to look up 🙂 Well done!
Very surreal! I’m so curious to know the story behind this photo.
Some of my favorite Ellen Goodman photographs are when your subjects are in silhouette, and you have hit the mark on this one, yet again! These may be people, cardboard cutouts, or even gods looking down on Earth!
I bet this made you dizzy, but the photo is wonderful. I saw this installation at Lincoln Center and found it quite intriguing. You’ve captured a particularly good moment during the display, especially with the figures silhouetted in front of it.
Why yes it did Bernice! How did you know?? Glad you like.
