Love the “Frame Within a Frame.” Love the color balance, the silhouette of the skyline, and the way the dark/light/light/dark/light progresses as your eyes move upward. Beautiful!

    Framed, sealed, and delivered! Beautiful!

Yes! I love this photo! The “frame” really turns the skyline into a special live postcard. It almost says – stop taking this for granted and really look through here. The lines of the frame, the fence, and even of the city work wonderfully together. Well done!

What a fun play of frames!

  8. Rae says:

What a great shot! The frame-within-a-frame really lets us see the beauty of the city by forcing us to look at that bright sunset. The perspective in this shot is really interesting, too, with the tilt of the frame emphasizing the clouds and sun rays behind the skyline.

I love the repetition of rectangles. Lovely way to frame the city.

Nice photo, Ellen! I love how the dark silhouette of the city connects to the dark frame.

Sorry for the delayed response, but it’s been a busy week. I did want to add my felicitations on this wonderful photo. The frame’s rakish angle holds a wealth of beauty with the sunset, iconic skyline and the railing. So unique and so compelling as it pulls the eye into the frame.
