This is lovely! I like the way the branches frame the larger figure – is the smaller one just closer to the shoreline? Interesting perspective either way, and the line of the grass and the horizon line draw my eyes inward.

    Well done, as always!

What a soothing and serene composition. Two figures framed by tree branches, looking out at a distant skyline also hint at a slightly mysterious narrative. The gentle sky and deepening shadows add to the air of mystery.

I just love how you capture the perspective. Everything appears so still with a sense of anticipation, as if the people are waiting for something or someone to appear. I love the late afternoon glow. Beautifully framed by the trees in the foreground.

Far from the madding crowd. One look at this photo conjures up so many thoughts and feelings. That’s what I love about your art.

It’s all in the “happening”. One side of the river is happening almost too fast, and the other side is waiting almost too slowly for something to happen. Your photos depict all kinds of perspective!

Does anyone see the comedy in this photograph? Aside from capturing the serene view looking outward across the water, I think that there’s the story of a tall man and his very small friend.

Yes, it’s all about perspective. In reality, the man in front was much smaller than the one behind, but the camera’s eye makes the man at the river’s edge look Lilliputian.
