Interesting shot, Ellen. Clearly, a man in mid-dance step on a stage. Seeing his form leaning into a move conveys motion in such a subtle way. I like it!
Another amazing photo. You’ve captured the music in this man’s soul! That’s what I love about your photos, they capture a feeling. The sign of a true artist.
Wow this came out so great! I love the shapes – the circles of lights and wires above, the rectangles of music stands in the middle, and his slightly curved linear form anchoring the photo. Especially awesome in black and white. So well done!
I love how the circular light rig picks up the movement from the man below, creating a dynamic and seemingly ever-changing image. It makes my eye move around the image the way the man moves around the stage and it’s almost as much fun as I’m sure he’s having!

Is he playing a saxophone? I don’t see it, but I can almost hear i! Great photo!

Another great shot, Ellen!
Back stage, under it all! Great perspective.
Actually I was in front of the stage; got a press pass to the event. And he was teaching Cuban dancing, not playing an instrument at all.
Wowza! The symmetry here is breathtaking! Great composition!
