How did you capture that second? Looks like a Chrysler Crises! Apparently nature has a different idea of fireworks!
Such a cool shot!!! I love how in a city usually so enveloped in brightness, everything is dimmed except for the power of nature. Awesome.
Amazing Ellen! You captured nature’s firework show!
Amazing photograph, Ellen! Catching the lightening is not easy, I am sure. My favorite aspect, though, is how the photo appears to be black and white, until we see the red streaking of the car lights below. Well done, as usual!
Great shot!
OMG!
Great Shot!!!!!
How did you capture that moment? It is exquisite!
I stood at the window for about two hours and took over 200 shots to get this one!! Thank you.
What a great shot, Ellen!
I love all of the lines in this shot- the line of red car lights that seem to go straight toward the storm, the sturdy towers standing tall in the rain and the ghost of the lighting in the lower right-hand corner make this a hauntingly beautiful image.
Another ELECTRIFYING shot! It’s amazing that you were able to capture this dramatic “decisive moment”. The colors are perfect – all those shades of grey highlighted by the white lightning and parallel line of red tail lights.
Talk about right time and place! You really captured the drama! Awesome!
What a shot! I love this!
