Such beautiful texture and light, almost reminds me of marble. Nicely captured!

This is so etherial! I once lay on my back for a long time and watched the clouds in the sky move, but after a while something changed, and I started to feel as though I was above the sky, looking down on it. This photo has that same sense of an altered reality, and is quite moving.

What a magnificent shot! The backlit clouds are as dramatic as in an El Greco painting.

  4. Bruce says:

Someone is living up there above those clouds, I think, Ellen. The light is so strong against the softer clouds. (I would say God, if that’s permitted)

And I see a great white bird in flight; it’s wingspan upper left to lower right, it’s body lower center with it’s head and beak facing to the right. In fact, now that I see that, I can’t seem to see anything else! beautiful!!

  6. Lisa says:

    Lovely! I agree with Bevy’s observation 100%!

  7. Sarah says:

    Beautiful! Here comes the sun…

  8. ellen says:

Actually, there goes the sun! But thanks 🙂

  9. ellen says:

Wow Bevy, now that you point it out, I do see the bird in flight. Awesome!
