This is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I love the proportion of sky to lighthouse and tree. So dramatic.
A lonesome, “Hopper-esque” lighthouse – I like it! Only his images don’t have the beautiful, wind-swept tree you have framed in this photograph. Great composition, Ellen!
Wowza! What a dramatic and sentimental capture. It feels isolated yet majestic. Love those black and whites.
Hopper meets Adams! Love it – needs to be big! Great eye.
The horizontal line of the foreground, coupled with the verticality of the lighthouse, makes this an especially striking shot. Add in the contrast of the black and white and it’s great. A new favorite!
