This was taken on Dag Hammarskjold Plaza. I was there to see the outdoor exhibit, but I loved the light on the man in the corner.

I love the Abakanowicz (sp.?) sculptures, and the unsuspecting little guy seated behind them only serves to emphasize their imposing presence.
What a great juxtaposition of the army of statues vs. the lone suited worker, all highlighted by a great use of light.
This is equal parts beautiful and eerie, as if sculpture is marching through the city! Well captured.
A thought-provoking image. The man in the background even has long legs like the scultpures. But to be honest, what I loved the most is the pigeon sitting on the fence surveying it all. What must he (or she) be thinking?
This picture is, for me, based on the little I’ve learned over the years about photography, the essence of what quality photography is all about – the juxtaposition of the scale of the sculptures with the man, the ‘light’ source shining on him, the purposeful absence of ‘balance’, the serendipity, seeing man and man made art form in one instance, etc.
This is a photo full of lovely contrasts!
