Diner En Blanc

I had the most interesting experience last night.  I heard about the Diner En Blanc – Dinner in White – (http://newyork.dinerenblanc.info/) from a friend – everyone has to be dressed in white, bring tables, chairs, food.  This started in Paris and is the second year that it took place in New York.  What a fascinating shoot it made for.  I’ve got many more great shots, but this was my favorite.

YES! This is incredible! I adore the silhouette of the woman in the hat. She seems to be the quintessential Diner En Blanc diner, almost out of Paris. I also love the way the balloons seem to reach up to the sky to frame her. Fantastic shot.

Both the “Diner En Blanc” concept and photograph are really neat. A flash mob to eat! Totally cool!

You always find out about the most interesting events. I’ve always been fascinated by collections of all white things such as in interior design and flower gardens, so this is right up my alley. I like the way you have formed strong diagonal sight lines with the edges of the tables and chairs. I definitely want to see more.
