What a nicely-framed, clasically composed image. Very serene, as others have noted. A quintessential poster image, promoting a botanical garden. Lovely!
Such a stunning photo! I love the way the reflection on the water lines up with the flowers (Queen Ann’s Lace?) and how they almost gesture toward the bridge. I agree with Jan, I see echoes of Monet here!
Thanks everyone for enjoying this photograph. It’s the Bow Bridge in Central Park, taken from the west side of the lake. I’ve got many beautiful images of this bridge, but never from this angle. And I loved how it looked on a sizzling hot day through the summer flowers.
Lovely and serene.
Love your perspective here, Ellen! Nature everywhere and the bow bridge anchors it all. Well done!
Ahh, the feel of the country in this calming and colorful capture. Surely Monet would have loved to paint this.

Wow! What an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful scene. Great way to start the week.

The Bridge on the River Kwiet……………Ahhh…
Beautiful! So peaceful. Love the muted colors of the Queen Anne’s Lace.
Shades of Giverny! Lovely.

A lovely view of a New York icon on a perfect summer day. It’s so peaceful, it looks like it’s in the country instead of the bustling city.
