Ah, the warmth of a fireplace on a snowy day! Amazing how much texture we see in the photograph – the solid chain link in the foreground eclipsing the smooth, flowing flames behind it. Look closely and you’ll see one one log with a single lick of red color. I give this photo two logs up, Ellen!

Lovely. I agree about the textures and colors. It’s cold and rainy enough in LA today to make the fireplace a tempting idea, too.
