This is beautiful. Hard to believe it’s January though. Looks more like March, just before buds start coming out.

  2. Bevy says:

Beautiful puffy clouds. The trees look like they are doing a dance; just waiting to hold up the fruit again! Nice shot!

  3. Tamara says:

Very nice! They look like they are doing a tribal dance. So much movement out of something so still. Quite a feat!
It also reminds me of van Gogh’s orchards in Arles series.

The juxtaposition of the soft white clouds and the sharp edges of the “Orchard People” are striking. Then there’s the contrast of the blue and white sky with the dark starkness of the orchards. Diametrically opposed, yet in harmony, waiting for spring to be on the same page in nature. Excellent shot!

These stumpy trees remind me of Halloween and scarecrows and African sculpture, all at the same time. They’re a little scary and quite comical. The contrast between the lyrical cloud formation and these grotesques is what artistry is all about.

I love the pattern the clouds and the trees make, quite a tapestry!
