love the use of shapes and lines, a perfect cityscape
This could be a Precisionist painting by Sheeler. Love how the white exclamation and red punctuation points direct the eye.
A wonderful array of shapes. Perfect for an abstract painting!
Great photo!! Don’t the electric wires and traffic light appear to be from the past when looking at a city of the future?
Wow, very interesting way of looking at it. I never thought of that. This is why I am so happy to read everyone’s comments. They all give me insight. Thanks!
Excellent, Ellen! Crisp, geometric, reflective, architectural perspective – and the red light is so vibrant that it draws me into the image. I like looking at the photograph and drinking it all in at once. Feels like I am there with you peeking through your lens.
I don’t know if anyone else sees this, but the cranes at the top of the big tower can look like the tails of two birds perched on telephone wires. It’s a very interesting perspective to me.
It continues to fascinate me how people see different things in the same image. So yes, now that you point it out, I can see that.
WOW! I love how flat these buildings look. You’ve turned them into an almost Bauhaus painting of the city!
