I can’t stop looking at Early Spring Reflections in your changing exhibition! It’s absolutely incredible how you can take a photo that looks like a watercolor. It might be one of my all-time favorite photos of yours – a classic Ellen!
This week’s blog photo is also wonderful – I love how, in shadow, the shapes of the branches and pinecones look so abstract.
Well done across the board!
Thank you. That’s one of my favorite shots too!
As an artist, I can appreciate the contrast of the crisp dark cones against the deep blue sky. As a “budding” botanist, I am wondering are these new cones or old ones ready to drop for the new buds?
They appeared to be new. I was at an arboretum and everything was coming to life. Great time of year!
Very Japanese!
The exhibit, along with this photo, just scream SPRING!
Great exhibition, Ellen! What a perfect sampling of spring! I think Pink Blossoms is my favorite image, and Duck Duck Goose gets my comedy award! Pine Cones definitely has a Japanese tapestry feeling to it. Well done all around!
