Spring Bridge

I went back to the same spot where I took my favorite Central Park in the Snow photograph (see Iconic New York, Black and White 23/32) to take this shot.  What a difference a few months make!

The colors are so rich … hard to believe it’s NYC.

Hi Ellen! With all the rain and clouds we have been experiencing, this lush photograph with your bridge peeking out is a breath of fresh air! Nature is a wonderful thing! Thank you for capturing its beauty and sharing it with us 🙂

Wouldn’t it be fun to display this one and the winter scene side by side?!!! Love it.

Yes Anne, I often take photos, especially of the city, for clients who want to pair images of places, either by season or by location. Thanks for your support!

I love the luxuriant foliage and the bridge peeping through all the green. You’ve really captured an unusually bucolic city view.

Those early planners knew what they were doing when they reserved all that valuable real estate for a touch of nature in the middle of the city. Thanks for capturing the perfection of full blown spring.

My favorite is the winter view. Perhaps you can take a shot in each of the seasons, although I’m not sure that summer would be much different than spring. Fall would probably be wonderful with all the colors.
