I love the color palette and balance. Ethereal!
So serene; rhythmic curves of the bridge, lapping waves and the pier. As to the ducks, their landing “V”is still visible, but as typical tourists, they are starting to meander as if to say, “OK, we already saw Roosevelt Island, what’s next?”
You captured a beautiful sunset!
Beautiful, serene, and nicely balanced composition.
The Light between two Cities. Good story starter. Lovely composition.
GORGEOUS! I love the colors, and even the shape of the pod of ducks as they move towards the cove. What a beautiful shot.
This is lovely. The black contrasts so nicely with the pastels of the sky. I’ve never been to Roosevelt Island and it’s nice to see a photograph taken there.
I love how the branches at the left seem to blow with the wind and move the eye from the pastel of the sky into the water below. What a great composition–so calm, so tranquil.
Love the peaceful pastel colors here, Ellen – and both the lighthouse and the ducks reflected in the water. Nice shot!
Another perfect shot–perfectly balanced form, perfect colors, perfect balance between man and nature.
This lovely sunset seems frozen in time. The colors are beautifully subtle, and the verticals move the eye along the curved cove and bridge, while the ducks add a playful note of whimsy in the foreground.
I just viewed Monday’s photo. Yeah! I’m back on the mailing list. Nice shot.
Another magnificent sunset shot by Ellen. Winter skies are so magical. Nice capture.
