This is spectacular. It’s feels like light from the lost souls. It even reminds me of the yahrzeit candles we light for the dead in Judaism. A truly beautiful shot and a perfect way to remember this date. Thanks for sharing this one.
Truly a lovely shot and remembrance; from the crowning rays of the setting sun to the golden shimmering building just near the new world trade center. It inspires hope…….
You’ve captured the glory of God in the radiant sunset, dramatic clouds and the reflected light on the building. The buildings evoke the glory of man, the will to survive and rebuild. You’ve created a sense of sadness and magnificence, a poignant reminder on this day of remembrance.

What an emotional photo for 9/11, Ellen. The clouds outlined in the background are amazing.
Beautiful photo! I love the sky backdrop. A comforting photo on a sad day.

This evokes sadness. It has a narrative to those of us who know and love NYC.
This photograph is breathtaking! It feels like NYC is stronger than ever!
What a beautiful yet solemn image of all the lives lost on 9/11..Their light still shines thru.

I can’t say anything other than that the 8 people before me spoke volumes.
