Reports are coming in from “The Daily Planet” Superman is confused: He was headed for his Fortress of Solitude, but discovered this new, gorgeous arctic location as exhibited by famous photographer, Ellen Goodman, and now doesn’t know where to chill out!
Aside from the comical aspect of the title, lots of great visual elements going on here, Ellen. Big, round ice rocks, delicate ice plants, and even ice forms below the water, all come together to create a winter wonderland!
This is an outstanding photograph – subtle color composition, surreal rock and plant formations, and ghostly reflections spun out across the scene. Simply captivating!
Wow, this looks out of the Arctic! I love the way the natural scene is almost preserved by the ice. Great jagged lines too, very cool photo.
I love the way the sky looks in this photo. Nice job as always.
This is one of your best abstracts. Powerful and wonderful!

Great photo! The only good outcome from the cold weather.
Interesting and hard to read. Therefore, it is a great stimulus for an abstract painting!
Captivating photograph! Mother Nature’s artwork.
This is a wonderful combination of forms and textures. Love it!
