Lovely NY photo! From this perspective of Central Park, it appears that the tallest branches are even higher than the skyscrapers. A nice message at a time when NY is focused on climate change.
This is, or should be, one of your iconic New York shots. It SCINTILLATES with beauty and excitement – shimmering lights against the dark landscape and deep blue sky. A tourist’s dream!
Thanks Anne for thinking the photograph beautiful, but it is in fact a photo of Central Park with Fifth Avenue in the background left, and the Plaza on the right – all reflected in the lake.
Love this shot, Ellen! So dramatic! Always great to be reminded that we have a park in the middle of our crazy city. Well done!

I love the way the city emerges, glowing, from behind the darkened trees. A truly beautiful shot, Ellen.
Love how the deep blue of the evening sky pops behind the gray of the photos subjects.
What a glam shot! Postcard-worthy. Brava.
With the perspective and the softness of the light emanating from them, the buildings look almost animated, like beings in their own right.

So magical – a lovely photo. Thanks!
Another beautiful photograph of the Flatiron Building, again in an unexpected fashion. Love it.

Ooops!
Wonderful depiction of our glorious city! Would proudly hang that in my home. Great shot, Ellen.
This truly looks like “the greatest city in the world!” Beautiful shot.
