The tulips and daffy’s are popped and ready, excited for the spring day and the man is pooped and not ready for the day. Hopefully nature’s energy will inspire as does this photo!
Love the photo, Ellen! The fresh green color of the trees, and the spray of colorful flowers tell the story. I also like the little details – the shadows cast by the railings and the light on the grass. One question for Carole in her comment above – was it a pun about the bend of the pathway? If so, good one!
This guy looks tired of the cold we’ve had this year and is simply anticipating the happy spring weather! He’s sitting there, seemingly ushering us into it anyway.
Great shot of the spring I know and adore, Ellen. I always love the lines in your photos, smoothly taking my eye from one corner to the next, reminding me to take a good look at the whole image.
Beautiful reflections of the path railings and colorful spring garden on a lovely (finally) day, only marred by the homeless guy sleeping on the park bench. The composition really pulls the eye back into the distance.

Thankfully, spring is just around the bend!
I love the division here between the city’s natural beauty (the park) and the rough, urban environment (the people). Well captured!

The curve really draws one in and spring is transforming the park. Happy end of winter everyone.

Looks like a lovely place for a nap on a chilly spring day. I can smell the grass just looking at this photo.
Such a pretty time.
