I was at MOMA yesterday to see a wonderful small show of women photographers. It was a hot and sticky August day in New York and the sculpture garden was empty. Except for this woman who was posing for a photo with Giacometti’s Tall Figure III.

Wow! Is this woman a part of the statue? It almost looks like they are one entity at the base. Great photographic observation Ellen – I guess life does imitate art.
I love this picture! As someone who is more along the lines of Short Figure II herself, I appreciate this woman’s effort to size up to Tall Figure III. So fun when a great picture comes out of someone else’s picture taking.
This looks great with all of the vertical lines in the photo! Also, I love this sculpture and the woman’s pose is so well captured in time!
