At first it seems like a great street shot of the city. Appropriately placed the day after the Super Bowl, this photo captures the enthusiasm many people have to watch the game.
Another aspect that catches my eye in this shot, Ellen, is that those individuals peering through the glass (presumably at a television screen and a game) appear to be studying not that game, but the reflection of the architecture that’s behind them. To us we see a framed image of the city, turned into a painting. These spectators become the unknowing museum-goers, gazing upon the framed architecture of the city.
What I find so interesting in this photo is the layering. The people outside, the man sitting at the controls inside, and then the reflections of the buildings behind. The shot brings you into the window and then out again.
Interesting people shot, Ellen. I really like the building reflections, and the one lone football fan with a NY Giants logo jacket!
I love the approach to the Super Bowl. Ordinary people perhaps hoping to get there, or at least be nearby.
Great reflections and reflecting people – wondering if they can get tickets???
This shot is great on a few levels.

Quite interesting, Ellen!
Love the juxtaposition of the seemingly motionless observers and the reflection of the city. Great shot!
