You mean, the cute photographer with the white sneakers? Great voyeur shot.

  2. Jan says:

Is that Josh? Nice capture. Also the lower NY photo looks like a postcard. Amazing how the Freedom tower dwarfs all of the buildings of NYC!

  3. Bevy says:

What a great Edward Hopperesque shot! I feel like I should recognize someone in the shadows, but I’m not sure who.

  4. Bernice says:

What a surreal view. Is this a reproduction of Hopper’s Night Hawks in a store window? It’s a conundrum and fun.

  5. Jan M. says:

That’s a famous painting,or fax(abb.). How did you get it on or behind the glass?

  6. Jan M. says:

Trade Center-nice shot. Was it taken from Ellis Island or The Liberty Science Center?

  7. Simone says:

Hopper! And you! What an interesting shot.

Also, love the new shot of lower Manhattan, an instant Ellen classic! Well done.

  8. Bruce says:

I see half an Ellen! What’s great is the strong coloration of the Hopper setting and real world on the other side of the store window. Well done, and so interesting!

  9. Sarah says:

These reflections are great! There is a contemporary layer on top of this classic and poignant theme. The green line, the pedestrian, the mysterious legs and feet – it’s all so seamless.

    Hopper would have been proud.

Pretty fascinating photo! It’s a blur of “outside in” and “inside out.” It would make one helluva challenging jigsaw puzzle – like the ones you see in the stores that you look at, and shake your head at, and wonder how anyone could ever put it together!!!! Really think it’s a terrific shot.

  11. Beverly says:

Regarding your Manhattan shots… All I can say is it really makes me feel I LOVE NY!!!!!

  12. Anne says:

I see an Edward Hopper painting. And I see Ellen taking the photograph. Neat.
