Love this colorful photograph framing the city and the Empire State Building peeking through in the background, Ellen! I can almost smell the flowers. Well done!
Just returned home from two weeks in New York. Stayed on Long Island. The weather was very humid and rainy. Noticed though how lush all the greenery and plants were. Very tropical looking. This photo proves that point with the exquisite hot pink flowers with their very green leaves in the foreground. Loved also how you captured the NYC skyline in the background appearing between the flowers. Another superb photograph. Bravo!
Interesting vantage point:
As if the blooms are the City
Made so full by much warmth and many a shower
And in the center is the actual city, much like the center of a flower!
Beautiful shot! Love the skyline through the flowers – they almost feel as tall as the skyscrapers!

As Claude Monet said, ‘I must have flowers, always, and always.’ This is a beautifully balanced image, full of hope, which is sorely needed.
Flowers adorning our beautiful city’s skyline. Great shot!
