What a stunning photo. The sky, sun and reflection on the rippling water, surrounding the lighthouse island, all captured in one glorious photo. Great shot.

Said the lighthouse to the sunshine:
    I’m skipping my light today.
    You’re number one, Mr. Sun!!!

I “wow”ed at this one, I “wow”ed my way through your exhibition! Especially loved “Wood Island Life Saving Station” (those perfect colors), “Waterfront Reflections,” and “Through the Bridge” (the X on the side!) Looks like an amazing trip. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Thanks Simone. My favorite is Wood Island Life Saving Station. When I saw that sailboat with the same color sail as the building coming towards it, I stood there for many minutes waiting to get the perfect shot. It paid off!!!

I love the exquisite photograph you took of the Nubble Lighthouse. The beautiful lighthouse sitting atop a hill overlooking the ocean. The baby blue sky with hints of white scattered clouds. The ocean sparkling from the reflection of the suns rays. I looked though your Changing Exhibition and noticed another photo of this lighthouse from a different vantage point but also a beautiful photo. Kudos for a wonderful catch!

Beautiful scene, I can feel the salt air

What an iconic blog photo, Ellen! A perfect day shining down on the sparkling sea and lighthouse. The changing exhibition is awesome – your photos take us on a magical journey along the coast of New England and into its colorful woods. Well done!

This picture is so perfect it hardly looks real! I especially love the bursting sunlight in the corner. Thanks for sharing the exhibition! I’m afraid I couldn’t pick a favorite since there were so many that I liked.
