This is so very different from what I am used to seeing. It has the rich texture of a 19th-century mezzotint, of gradations of light and dark. The framing is perfect!

This photo is so texturally interesting. And, I can’t decipher if it’s a mural painted on the door, or a tower seen through a glass door.

    Where is this? Very mysterious

This is such a fascinating photo, Ellen. The corridor framing the tower image makes me feel like I am traveling through a time tunnel into the past. Well done!

This feels like a page from an old book with its subtle shades of gray and tower looming in the distance. As Marty says, very mysterious! I wonder where the door leads–

Wonderful photo in the trompe l’oeil style. It appears to be an old interesting lighthouse. Love black and white photos and you capture them so well.

WOW, awesome shot! Love the timeless feel and the view of the tower. I can picture an earlier generation looking at the same thing. Well done!

Thanks all. This was taken at the Twin Lights lighthouse in Highlands NJ. I was walking up the stairs in one of the lights looking through a window back at the other tower. And trying to take a photo while keeping balanced on the narrow rounded staircase. Talk about challenging!
