Even your simplest of photographs have an artistic architectural flair. There you are on that stair, and the beach is back! Well done.
I recognized the silhouette immediately. Lovely ghostly shadows and human counterpoint in the distance.
The beach itself has obviously, happily reappeared!
Welcome home, Ellen. A beautiful shot. Your shadow reminds me of the promise of things to come – a foreshadowing, if you will – a return to the boardwalk and the beach.
So many of your beach scenes have whimsy and interesting, unusual lines. This has both.
Another classic elusive self-portrait by Ellen Goodman! With context of the recent events that have happened to our coastline, this feels a bit vast and lonely. Post Sandy blues….
Thanks Sarah. Actually it was a photo I took joyously. It was the first time we were let back down on the beach, instead of having to just look at it through a fence. I was celebrating!
