I was busy taking fall photographs of my favorite bridge in Central Park when this beautiful little girl, all dressed up in her Sunday best and chattering away in French, kept getting in the way. Her mother was trying to get her to stop long enough for a cell photo. In the end, I got a wonderful shot, don’t know how her mother did. Merci Celine!
What a delicate, touching photograph, Ellen. The bridge and little Celine are almost timeless in this image, and you captured some beautiful reflections in the pond. Well done!
This bucolic image feels like the beginning of a children’s book. “The old Duke’s grand-niece and ward, Celine, a spoiled and unpleasant little girl, is surprised to be able to understand the Paddlebottom family speak to each other as they swim along the shore one Fall Day, but is angry when the servants raising her, laugh openly at her excited story…”
Haha Thom. I love this! And I especially love the Paddlebottom family 😉
Un, deux, trois
et VOILA!
Une belle photo!
Spectacular and Gallery worthy!
This photo looks like it could have been taken 100 years ago–or more! It’s just lovely. I see her as a sweet but lonely child, befriended by a passing duck.
WOW! This photo is so timeless, so delicate, and so beautiful. It feels like an impressionist master should’ve painted it a long time ago. Well done and merci, petite Celine!
One of those 1 in a million shots caught perfectly! Wonderfully done
Looks like a Renoir
So lovely and peaceful. Watercolor painting worthy.
Truly a magnificent photo! It is as if it is a painting done by one of our masters. Bravo!
