This could very easily be one of those Florida-style paintings, with pale colors and broad swipes of color from edge to edge. I love it, and the detail that becomes clear when one looks more closely. Iconic New York!
WOW, what an incredible photo and instant classic! Always wondered what the skyline would look like from there. Even the natural placement of the clouds lead the eye down to the city. As always, thanks for showing us the world from your view.
Great perspective here, Ellen! The ever-changing NYC skyline in your photos is always fascinating. I think the one thing that draws me in here is the curve of the Hudson River as it wends its way to Jersey City on the distant right bank and then out to sea in my imagination. Well done!
