This is clearly a sign of our times, Ellen – well done! The changing exhibition is also a great assemblage of interesting signs in unexpected places. I think Live Here is my favorite but so many others are equally intriguing! Thanks!

I LOVE your sign exhibition! Each one tells a small story about the place and the times we live in. I think You Rock was my favorite, but this one has an Edward Hopper feel to it and it’s probably one of my favorites too. Well done!

EAT just plain reminds me of my grandmother saying that! The irony of “Live Here” with the tents despite all of the other signs posted right there is my favorite. Thanks for sharing your ongoing work!

  4. Bernice says:

Such abundance amidst the command to “EAT” reminds me that there are many who do not have enough to eat! Especially now, with unemployment at its height and no pandemic money coming through.

  5. Thom says:

What a riot of activity, and different layers of things for the eye to focus! And so much to consider, socially.

  6. Jacqueline says:

Is this person lonely eating alone? This photo exemplifies the social isolation many of us are feeling these days. The large letters seems like a command–we all need sustenance to keep going.

Signs of the Times. That’s such a great idea (and exhibition)

    EAT
Try to find a warm seat
And socially distance with whomever you meet!
