I am not sure what about this photo makes me think of Japanese writing, but maybe the sweep of the petals against the blue sky. In any event, I like it! Well done Ellen!
It’s a very dramatic photo – dark petals silhouetted against a clear blue sky. But I can’t help thinking about the fact that this flower is dying. Is it corona time that makes me think about that?

Definitely! I always love the natural beauty that flowers take on as they age, especially tulips and that’s what this was.
