I’m feeling a short story in this shot, Ellen. You captured a moment! Beautiful.
Wow! This one is great! Really reminds me of Kara Walker. What a perfect moment. Great job, Ellen!
I love this shot!
Beautiful shot. It exudes a great mood.
Love the effect of the black and white silhouette. Several feelings are evoked from this photo. One of Alfred Hitchcock, and the other of a grandfather engaging his granddaughter in a tale.
Wonderful happy shot – something about the characters make me think of Norman Rockwell!
What I like about this wonderful silhouette shot are the subjects. We’re looking at a photgraph of someone about to take photograph! Well done!
Yes! One of my favorites from this shoot! I love the way her silhouette is leaning towards him, and almost in response, he’s leaning back. The lights and the fountain are the perfect, simple backdrop. Love it.
Amazing shot – it made me think of Kara Walker too, only less threatening to the girl.
I just got back from Ireland and kept wondering, “How would Ellen shoot this?” It rained every day. This is lovely.
I love this week’s post- it is loving, whimsical and summery. Perfect!
I think this is my new favorite!! LOVE it
Thanks Rob and everyone. One of my favorites too!
