Beautifully composed and nuanced image. Another keeper!
Eerie but exquisite work of art. I really love it.
A wonderful and haunting image, perfectly balanced!
Interesting flow of image…. through an archway peephole, following the line of a tree compass, all the way to the houses vanishing point.
Gorgeous composition!
What a hauntingly perfect image, Ellen! Love how it is framed in the archway. Even the tree feels like its leaves have abandoned it. Well done!
Cool photo. Have a happy new year.
Beautiful framing and color
What a lovely composition with the branches of the tree carrying the eye all around the photo. I agree with Bruce that it is hauntingly beautiful, not a place to tarry.
Ooooh, I love this photo – the shape you create by shooting through the archway is perfect and the tree between the abandoned houses anchors everything perfectly. Haunting and timeless all at once.
This image is so precise, lucid and symmetrical, it almost looks unreal. The composition and perspective are perfect!
Inviting, eerie, mesmerizing. A book cover for an epic story. Well done
I agree with Carole about it being perfect for a book cover photo. A novel that’s very eerie or offbeat. It also reminds me of the Cloisters in the Bronx.
