Beautiful shot! The sunset is so enhanced by the silhouette. I turned the picture upside down, and the effect of pink striped buildings against a black sky was a bit surreal, but interesting none the less.
The very recognizable NYC water towers atop buildings silhouetted against a multicolored, cloud layered sky. The progression of color in the sky from dark purple to pale yellow adds to the dramatic effect of the black foreground.
