Beautiful photo, Ellen! Such vibrant colors with the onset of night time. I love how the streetlamps’ reflections dance across the pool. I can almost hear the fountain water spraying off its sides!
I just checked your blog and saw this indigo/violet nighttime photo and the violet flower photo at the same time. If Night at Central Park could produce a flower, that flower would indeed be the one!
Pretty! I think the Bethesda Fountain is probably my favorite spot in Central park (living right by it for 2 years didn’t hurt either).
I love this photo!! Will the rest of the good shots from Central Park at night be up on the changing exhibit?
beautiful shot! very “new york” and very romantic.
Yes Emily, I’m working on a portfolio of New York at night photos. Hope to make that the next changing exhibition. Thanks for your encouragement!
Lot’s of blue, but the photo doesn’t make you blue. Mysterious and romantic instead.
Love the soothing shades of blue and purple in this one. Another New York classic, well done!
Many Hues of Blues! What a beautiful and soothing photo.

You have captured my favorite blue, the sky as night falls.

I love the shades of blue and violet, accented with the lights.
