No Bernice, I don’t know the woman. I was at a cherry blossom festival in Newark on Saturday, a bright sunny day. I walked by a tent where people were eating and saw this woman and her child in silhouette and was happy to capture the fleeting moment.
Love the soft silhouette and great photo catch Ellen!
I wonder if these are your daughter and granddaughter. Lovely silhouettes of figures and awning, and rainy? view beyond.

A sweet moment of maternal love. I like the way the scalloped edge of the tent frames the figures.
I just love the beautiful silhouettes of the mom and baby juxtaposed with the waves of the awning! You have a great eye.
Lovely silhouette reflecting mother-child bond.
Nice capture of a precious moment in time!
